About the workshop
Join us at Left Field Leslieville for a hands-on Clay Ornament Making Workshop! Perfect for beginners and craft enthusiasts alike, this session invites you to explore the art of shaping and decorating your own handmade clay ornaments and making collection of beautiful, custom-made ornaments—perfect for home decor, gifting, or festive celebrations.
Under the guidance of our experienced instructor, you’ll learn:
- Basic hand-building techniques using clay
- How to add textures, patterns, and underglaze (paint) finishes
All materials are provided, and no prior experience is needed—just bring your imagination and a willingness to get your hands a little messy! Feel free to bring your own pattern and decoration inspirations. We will also have some fun and easy pattern and decoration ideas on hand to get you started.
Your fired ornaments will be ready to pick up from Left Field Brewery two weeks after the workshop date.
A couple of things to note:
- Cost of material and firing costs are included in the registration fee.
- Fired pieces can be picked up from Left Field Brewery 2 weeks from the workshop date.
- We recommend wearing comfortable clothing.
- Aprons are not provided.
- Workshops are non-refundable.
- There are no partial refunds for missed workshops.
- If registration doesn't reach the minimum number of attendees, we reserve the right to reschedule the workshop.
