Date: Sunday, June 1 2025

Time: 1:30-6 pm (4.5 hours)

Age: 16+

Location: Feldspar Ceramics, 1390 Gerrard St East

This workshop is catered to intermediate and advanced potters with prior wheel-throwing experience.

About the workshop

Join our pottery workshop and learn the art of crafting a beautiful teapot from start to finish. In this hands-on session, you'll explore techniques like wheel-throwing and hand-building, while discovering how to design the perfect spout, handle, and lid. Whether you're an intermediate or experienced potter, this workshop will guide you in creating a functional and unique teapot.

This workshop focuses on the process of creating a teapot and all its components, however there will not be time for extensive trimming of the thrown pieces.

Participants may choose to have their untrimmed but assembled teapot fired and glazed with one of Feldspar's studio glazes. Those wishing to take their unfired pieces home at the end of the workshop will be provided with one bat for transportation.
